The purpose of Anna Glassco Counselling social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) is to offer ideas and content relating to mental health, however content shared is not a replacement for counselling, and is for educational and promotional purposes only.
Professional Boundaries and Ethics
Anna Glassco Counselling will not be responding to any direct or indirect messages due to ethical standards. To ensure confidentiality and boundaries, Anna Glassco Counselling will not be accepting any requests from current or former clients on personal social media accounts, to uphold professional and ethical boundaries. If you need to contact Anna Glassco Counselling, please reach out via email or through the website.
Confidential communication
Any communication through social media platforms such as likes, comments on posts or followings could expose the therapeutic relationship, the client may pursue this at their own risk, as it is a public profile, however it is not a confidential means to communicate. Therefore, Anna Glassco Counselling suggests if you need to contact your counsellor between sessions, please only use the secure means including Anna Glassco Counselling’s secure email, or phone call.
Seeking Client info
Anna Glassco will not be searching for public information about clients unless absolutely necessary. An example of this includes, if an immediate crisis were to arise and the clinician has reason to be concerned about your welfare, and the client has not been in touch via typical methods. If this were to occur (which is very rare occurrence), it will be documented and discussed with the client at their following session.
Online testimonials
While feedback is appreciated, please note that since the business can be found across a variety of business listings which have rating and review features, this is not required by clients. If a client chooses to leave reviews or ratings, they do so at their own risk. Anna Glassco counselling encourages you do not share personal information as this may put your privacy and confidentiality in jeopardy.

Qualifications
Anna Glassco Counselling holds the following qualifications: Registered Social Worker (RSW), with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW), and membership with British Columbia’s Association of Social Workers (BCASW).
Ethics
Registered Social workers are regulated by the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW) Code of ethics and Standards of Practice, which is designed to protect clients. Clients are encouraged if any concerns or issues arise, to discuss them together and find a positive resolution. However, if the issue persists and/or the client would like to file a complaint, then it is suggested and encouraged to visit www.bccsw.ca.
Fees and Refunds
Prices are subject to change based on inflation and the financial market, however if a change is made, you will be notified of this change at least 30 days in advance. Fees currently are $140 for sessions, including walk and talk, online/phone and in-person. Should a client miss a payment, another session will not be provided until the balance has been paid. All sales are final and there will be no refunds on services provided.
Guarantees
As a user of the Site you understand that Anna Glassco Counselling makes no guarantees on any results through information shared through this Site and social media profiles, or services.
No warranties
Anna Glassco Counselling makes no promises that the Site or third-party programs we use to offer services (Jane app) will always be functioning. As such, if a problem arises, we will attempt to amend the situation ASAP. If the problem persists Anna Glassco Counselling will be in touch regarding a resolution.
